I'm a backend-focused software engineer specializing in high-performance APIs, distributed systems, data pipelines, and production reliability. Over the past several years I've worked across fintech and healthcare technology domains, collaborating with distributed teams in Asia, the Middle East, and Australia.

Most of my work lives in the backend: designing Kafka-based data pipelines, tuning ORM queries from 4-second bottlenecks to sub-second responses, building real-time WebSocket notification systems on AWS, and deploying ML inference services to SageMaker. I care deeply about reliability, observability, and the kind of code quality that holds up under production load.

I was promoted to tech lead at PTN Global, where I managed a 5-person team while working as an individual contributor — running planning, code reviews, and knowledge transfer alongside Australian data scientists and clinicians.
